around your head.

Sweatpants,

a t-shirt,

and a freshly

washed

face.

I stare

at you

standing there

in your mom’s kitchen.

Totally unaware

of the

force

of nature

you are.

I see you

chopping salad,

and I am

in awe.

Does this

woman

have any

idea,

of her

power?

Her

beauty?

Her

incredible

resilience?

I suspect not.

And so

I simply

stand there,

admiring

the incredible

view,

that’s so uniquely

you.
