of true

friendship

is

hard

to

describe.

It’s like

the perfect

sunrise

and

sunset,

at once.

It’s that

cozy

sweater,

after

coming in

from

the cold.

It’s the

smell

of freshly brewed coffee

and shared

laughter.

Mugs cupped

in hand,

contemplating

life,

while sharing

joy

and sorrow.

It’s the

perfect dessert,

after a

spectacular

meal.

It’s a kind

word,

on a dark

day.

It’s a hooray

for your

quiet corner.

It’s an

“I knew you could

and I’m so proud of you”

when all

you

had was

doubt.

And it’s

the

opportunity

to mirror

it

all

back,

to one

amazing

being

who you

happened

to meet,

per chance,

and who

feels exactly the same

about

you.

Those rare

gems

who pitch with

their own

spades

when the

deed is done,

and you’re in

need of

someone…
