built for kinship,

for connection.

To be with good

people,

who get us.

And people who

have seen us

live,

and love us

anyway.

People who share

the same thread

we do.

Who have seen

similar demons,

and have tried to

hide

under the

same beds.

They are us,

and we are them.

And there is

a profound luxury

in realizing

this,

and even more so

in being able

to spend

quality time

with these

amazing souls.

For this life

truly is short,

and to fill it

with bursts of

joy, and blessed

kinship,

is the way

to go anywhere

and everywhere,

through deep connection

and heart’s content.
