Dear Reader
what does
your own, personal
Shangri-La
look like?
How do you
feel when you’re there?
And conversely,
what do you miss
when you’re not?
I’d love to know,
as most of us
humans are quite
similar, yet also quite different.
And the things,
experiences, and
togetherness that
make our own hearts happy
can sometimes be
quite different.

My Shangri-La
has dogs: many and often!
They’re everywhere,
active and languid,
big and small, ok
mostly big and scruffy!
(Hi Iggs!)
There’s also unlimited
time,
and great food.
Good conversation,
the best books.
Loads of dear friends,
fabulous no-seam socks,
bamboo towels,
amazing dark chocolate,
and a barista who knows
to brew exactly the coffee
you need.

Which does make me think:
most of these things
are easy to
add
to my everyday life… So
best I get
to
it!
