a certain
joy,
a certain luxury
to being truly seen.
And fully experienced.
By someone
who perhaps
a few minutes,
days, weeks or even
years ago
had been a
not-so-perfect-stranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These simply
amazing creatures
who cross our
life paths somewhat
haphazardly a best,
and creates a tsunami
of events or
even feelings,
at worst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only it\u2019s not worse.
It\u2019s so much better,
to have the opportunity
to spend time
with these
special people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are fabulously
flawed, just like
you.
And they know it,
and they know you.
AND they still want
to be with you,
and laugh
and have coffee
and perhaps even
hold your hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life really is about
this.
No, actually.
Life IS this.
So if, like me,
you sometimes feel
guilty about
the amount of
time you spend
text, talking to
and laughing with
these people. Put
that down now.
For the days are long
and the years
are short.
And one never quite
knows
when you\u2019ll
have the luxury of
that precious
friend
