It resonates and rattles
something
deep
inside
my bones.
The necessity
to remember, that
we are
more
than \u201cjust\u201d
the here and now.
We are crafted and constructed,
filled to the
brim,
with history,
and connectedness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yet we
are also destined
to build out
the lives that
we want, and
touch the lives
of those
dear to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I want a life
where everyday
is a good day
to die.
Where no praise
is left unspoken, where
no kindness
is left unshared,
where no connection
is left
uncelebrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A life where
all the wild colours
dance
together in
a kaleidoscope
of hope,
of love,
of joy and silliness,
of wonder and
new beginnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I sit
here, now,
today IS
a good day
to die, and
for this I am
eternally
grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
