You

astound me,

and there’s

a whole

tribe of you.

How did

you

get here?

How did

this

happen?

Oh wait.

You

grew.

You grew

from us.

You grew

from

our mistakes.

You

grew

from our

“too little”.

You grew

from our

trying to shape

ourselves

into something

we

were

not.

And now,

look at

you.

Strong.

Powerful.

Amazing.

No nonsense.

You

are

you.

And you

know what

you

want.

And

you’re

getting it

for yourself.

Every

day.

I look at

you

and I wonder,

how much more magnificent

will you grow,

as already your

roots

rise above our treetops.
