Flourish

Abundance.
These words feel
lush, rich,
thick and heavy
in my mouth.

They take up space,
they expand,
they are intricately
embellished,
they are steeped
in flourishes.

This
is the type
of life
I am encouraged
to build,
and what I’d
like to
champion
you to do too.

And yes,
I do understand
that it is not
my place to be
prescriptive.
That is not
my intention
with regards
to you.

My intention for
you is a life
embellished with the
tapestry of
deep living,
of going well
beneath the
surface to that
cool darkness,
that magical
place.

What you’ll find
there,
I have no idea.
And what
will make your
own life beautiful
and happy,
I have no idea of
either.

What I do know
though
is that YOU
will know, once
you take the
time to be still
and listen to your
heart, and then
build out all of
those fabulous things
in your life.
For you.
By you.

That takes
courage,
and the spoils
are incredible,
believe me, for
I have seen the
future,
and it is
glorious.
