The darkness
amplifying the

It’s in your smartness,
both in your sassy mouth,
and your interesting mind.
It’s the attentiveness,
and the remembering
what I like. It’s in the
making space for
me, while keeping
me safe.
You are magnetic,
and I find myself drawn to
you, in a moment
and a lifetime.
There’s so much of you,
so many layers,
so many experiences,
so many disparate things.
We love to
play, and we play to
love, both surprised
by the unexpectedness of this
crazy thing,
growing between
us.
