how we all
have some overlap
somewhere?
I’m talking
similar traits,
experiences,
and feelings.
Disappointment
has come for
us all,
as has profound
joy, and
conversely sorrow.
We are steeped
in the same
experiences,
or rather,
in similar emotions,
stirred by different
experiences.
We forget this
sometimes, when
we dip into
everyone-else-is-an-arsehole
mode.
Yet when
we take
the time to focus
on the wonder and
humanity of a particular
individual, this sense
of connection
often
comes flooding back
in.
We are
wonderfully and
beautifully made, and
we are built
for connection.
Just this.
