Feck! How dreary
these pretend

in my life.
They suck
piles!
And that
crazy, sullen
girl
inside me
whinges
near constantly…
This is no
way
to live.
Where there
is
no
joy, there is
no
meaning.
There, I said
it,
for it really
is
so.
Play, in all its
glorious forms,
is
essential,
to everyday
happiness.
