The kindness

of strangers,
can be
tricky to
anticipate and
understand,
at the best
of times,
and at the worst,
can leave one
quite flabbergasted.

See,
kind people really
are
just kind.
It has very little
to do with
you,
their often
unintended audience.

So really,
much like
other
great things
that happen
in life,
it’s very much
happenstance.

This means
that
people will indeed
be people,
and show
you
exactly who
they truly
are.
All you have
to do
is
sit up,
take notice,
and tally the
score,
so to speak,
remembering always
that you too,
are a person,
and by definition,
exposed
to the same scrutiny.
