I tell

you
that you’re
awesome,
quite often.

This free
exchange of admitting the
genuine
emotions I experience,
surprises me,
perhaps even
more so
than the actual
emotion.

I like you,
and you’re
amazing
and I’d like
you to know
that.

And yes,
I know you’re
not
perfect.
And I’m exceedingly
grateful to have
dodged the
bullet of
having to live with
a perfect human being,
or worse,
one who perceives
themselves
as
such.

So this is
me
popping in
with this
very
real
reminder:
you mission, should
you
choose to accept it,
is to
remember to
celebrate your
awesomeness
daily.
And should
you ever
get stuck, short of
ideas
on how to
do this:
you have my number.
