Blissed out

who knew
that this
was even
a
thing.
My body
hums
contently.
My mind is
clear.
My nervous
system is dialled
to
a deep
forest green.

Who knew
you would actually
come
back,
like you said
you
would.

Who knew
we could
puzzle piece
our weeks
together,
chatting and
laughing,
while building
this ordinary
life,
filling our
marble jar
to the brim.
We both
know there
will be withdrawals,
and kinks
in the
road ahead.
There will be
thick salty tears
in the back of
my throat,
and there
will also
be more bliss,
as we,
the novices
stumble
forward
into this random
magnificence
we continue to build
with great
coffee,
laughter,
fantasy football
teams, and
other
everyday
things.
