It is often

implied
that the real
brains of the
operation, is
in fact Batman.

Yet today, especially,
I will object.
For if you
are
lucky
enough to have
a Robin in
your life, you
have truly arrived.

A person of character,
of grit. One to face
and succeed
storms with.

One to laugh and
coffee with.
One to listen to,
and be awed by. One
who has prospered
and grown over decades
of
consistent effort…

This is where
the magic truly
lies.
So today, if you
happen to see
Batman, do
say “hi”.
In the meantime, I’ll
hang with Robin,
here in my
little life
which is so
much richer
for knowing
the true
pleasure of
his
dear company.
