What happens

when you
just breathe?
When you simply
sit, by yourself.
Staring into space.
No phone.
No need to talk.
Just being.

Discomfort, for sure!
Yet as you stick
with it,
it seeps into
your bones.
The quiet. The easy.
The huge exhale.

It’s stuck, deep
inside your chest, after
weeks, months, or
sometimes, even years
of holding
your breath.

Of struggle, of disappointment,
of getting up, bruised.

Exhaling sets
you free. It’s beautiful,
simple rythme. Feel
your body respond. The discomfort
of rigidity leaving, replaced
by a softness, in
these rare moments
of
ease.
