How life is
just a tiny
bit sadder,
when you’re
not around?
Walks meandre, not
quite hitting
the joy spot.
Conversations
happen, mostly
in my head,
with no wise
words, kindness, or
gentle persuasion
to be had.
And then
one day. There
you are again. Ready
to connect,
to give, to laugh,
to contemplate, and
simply to be
together.
The luxury of time,
spent with great
people, is indeed a
luxury I wish for
every life. So thank
you
dear friend,
for adding a great
helping
of this,
back into
my life
today.
